A good story on this one. This is one of the first big completed paintings I did back in 1980. I spotted this 56 Bently parked in a driveway one day while driving around and jumbed out and got a few good reference photos of it. After I finished the piece and framed it up a friend came over and saw it. He really like it a lot and jokingly said "That's my wedding present. When I get married you can give that to me." At the time he wasn't even dating anybody and had not even met his future wife. I liked the painting so much I kept it for myself and had it hanging on my living room wall. Everytime he came over he'd comment on it. About 4 years later on his wedding day he opened his present from me and there it was.
