This painting shows Herons and Egrets wading among the mangrove islands. It is scenes like this one that led me to paint the large wading birds in the first place. This location in the painting below is where I have gone fishing many, many times. As I waded the grass flats along side the birds I became fascinated by them. I have now devoted over twenty years of expressing that fascination in my artwork.
