At art shows people always ask me, "Are they really that pink?" Yes, they are really that pink and then some. I have seen Roseate Spoonbills illuminated by the sun at dawn against the dark green of mangroves. They stood out so much you'd think they were plugged in.
Ding Darling on Sanibel Island is one of my all time favorite birding spots. I have really gotten some great research done there (fishing too). The same day a big old alligator was blocking the road we saw what must have been over a hundred Roseate Spoonbills in one area. A sea of pink. Before that I had never seen any more than a couple of dozen at once. My lovely wife was with me at the time and all we could both say was - wow!

They are also priced at $20.00 for just the limited edition print by itself without the matt or backing board. This gives you the opportunity to select the matting of your choice.
